    Making sure of tub size
    Hello,
I have been thinking about which tubs I will be needing for my ball pythons. I have 15 qt tub for when snake is small but I didn't know which to buy for adult ball python. I am going to get a male.
I was googling and looking at forum and saw that adult male ball pythons will be fine in 34 qt tub their entire life.
So today, I went in to walmart to see how big 34 qt is. I did find 34 qt tub and they happen to have one elf green color latch tub which I never saw, they always have standard blue for sterlite.
Anyways, do the dimension seem fine to keep the adult male ball python? and what size heat tape is appropriate? I was thinking of 12 inch from reptile basic.

People keep male ball pythons in this size, but I personally think a larger tub is better. Look for a "CB-70" tub or equivalent, I believe they are a 37/41 qt tub with dimensions: 33.5 x 17.8 x 6 Inches.

thanks for the info. I will probably use this since people do use it. If the snake seems to need more room later on, I probably will get bigger tub but I'm sure that won't happen till 2~3 years later haha.

I would like to point out that these sizes are the absolute minimum. I keep my 300g ball python in a 50 gallon stacker tote.
