Using heat tape on vision racks?

Has anyone successfully routed heat tape under their tubs in vision racks? I love the racks but have had bad experience with the "heat rope" and simply prefer tape.

Considering how they are made, not flat and no where to be able to recess the heat, what's gonna happen is that the tub will rub on the tape creating damage in the long run and becoming hazardous.

Honestly those rack are horrible they a super wobbly and the heat is just bad, I have no idea what could make someone like them, I hated mine and got rid of them quickly.
