Heyo! New snake keeper here!
Just wanted to drop by make an introduction, and ensure my husbandry is correct. Meet Charlotte! Ive been wanting a BP for a long time now (well really an Emerald Tree Boa) but im not that experienced with snakes, so went with a BP. I also keep a huge African Bull Frog and two Crested geckos.
I have Charlotte currently in a 10 gallon. Using snake bedding as substrate and have hot and cool hides. Hot side temp 92ish, cold side 75ish. Humidity is around 45 most of the day with morning, and evening mistings. All water used is treated with reptisafe. Currently feeding on live adult mice weekly. I will most likely switch to frozen. I wanted her to stay on her current feeding scheduling until she settles in. Anyways any and all tips appreciated. What's your humidity? You might want to switch the aspen out for something that holds humidity better. And those analog thermometers can be up to 10 degrees off. Just some things I noticed! But anyways, beautiful snake! :welcome:

ty. I have a digital im using. The analog is for the cold side. I do have a humidity question though. Do BPs need constant humidity at a certain level or do they need spikes with degradation? I have found different answers on humidity needs.

Wal-Mart sells this great temperature and humidity reader all in one for about 10 bucks. I have 4 of them two for each of my snakes. I was told about them on this forum!! Love everyone here!! Nice looking snake!!!
