Velcro Question

So I got a thermometer/hygrometer where the main part of it reads one temp plus the humidity and it also has a probe coming out reading another. Is it okay to use velcro on the inside of the tub (snake rack) to stick it on the side or should this be avoided due to the sticky part of the velcro? Thanks!

Should be avoided because of the sticky part it can eventually come unstuck that almost happened to me.

Nothing sticky EVER goes inside of the tank! They can get stuck and then scales or skin tips, bones break, and your babie could die. Don't risk it!

Definitely avoid using adhesives of any sort inside your enclosure. Sticky things such as tape, Velcro, etc... can end up stuck to your snake and can cause serious injuries.

Velcro however, is fine, if you forgo use of the included adhesive and instead glue it in with non-tacky adhesives like hot glue, superglue, aquarium silicone, etc. Just let the later ones air out if there's fumes before putting your snake in, since they are more affected by smoke/fumes than humans due to diminished lung capacity.

no, it will eventually get your snake some how. Don't put anything in that has anything sticky on it.
