New here, what is this small white spot on my BP's eye?
I rescued Carl from someone in my home town that no longer wanted him. I'm pretty certain that he's lived his entire life in an oversized aquarium with a mesh lid and little to no humidity. I've got him in a tub setup and his temps are 90°/76° and humidity is 60%-65%. He recently had a full shed including one eyecap, the other I had to coax off with a soak or two and a damp qtip. Well yesterday I noticed this small white spot on his eye, I raised his humidity to a constant 70% percent but haven't seen any difference. Any ideas?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...7aaf96d6d8.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d1e85cac1f.jpg

it could be another retained eyecap, or he's still dehydrated as a dimpled eye is a classic sign. if you're sure you got the eye caps off, just keep that humidity up and provide a big water bowl he can fit in. if the eye doesn't look better in a couple days it could be a retained eye cap.
that's what I was thinking but it just seemed more like a patch. Thanks for the advice ill definately keep his humidity up and probably add some moss to his warm hide.

Just wanted to give an update, I got a full shed this morning including a couple layers of eye caps and his eyes are all clear. No longer dented either! Thanks for the suggestions all!
