    Smallest lifetime cage
What are the dimensions for a cage to house Honduran's in that would suffice thru adult hood. Do I need to get AP T8's or can I go smaller??

    Please advise.

    Thanks

a "40 gallon breeder" type tank is fine. something like 36x18x12. u can get a PVC cage like a T8 if u want, but i would rather save that for a BP or Boa. my Colubrids (Hondo included) do fine in glass tanks and do not need the higher humidity like BP's.

I definitely want to go with a pic cage but was wondering how small I could go. They are currently in a rack.

Granted they are only cousins, but since I have never kept Milks I'll say this: my adult Cal King was in a 40 gallon breeder and used every inch. He's now in a custom enclosure that is 4'x2'x2' and uses every inch. I can't imagine him being in anything smaller than a 40 breeder.

I would go with a 4' x 2' cage of some kind. Hondurans are a larger colubrid and could really use the extra space. I would treat them akin to a larger california kingsnake.
