My little Pastel Enchi girl has completed her second shed. Bitter sweet, because this means she is ready for her new home. I like to wait until they are over 100 grams (she is 110) past the second shed and willing eaters before I let them go.
She is all that and then some. Her brother should shed tonight. Once he does they will get a nice meal of f/t Rat pup. The fuzzies just seem to disappear into them and leave them unsatisfied...[emoji4]
This will conclude my first official breeding season. I raised one clutch years ago, but that was from a rescue female and not planned.
I'm taking a year off to let my Desert Ghosts grow up nice and slow and then I will try this once again.
I have to say, it was such a cool experience. I can't wait until I can raise my very own Desert Ghosts, hold back my own hatchlings. Something so special to raise ones own to keep [emoji4]
Out of last seasons clutches I'm holding back the Super Emperor Pinstripe girls for now. One because I want to see how her color developes and the other because she just now started to eat without assistance. That one will need to eat at least 10 meals on her own before I even consider placing her.
