Bug eyes on a desert?

I picked up a male desert at a local show.
I noticed when I bought him ( he wasn't going for a lot) he had bulging eyes. But also had several layers of stuck shed on his head and eyes. So after several weeks and alot of help his sheds are cleaned up. But he still has bug eyes. ( Not even remotely as bad as before).
So has anyone seen bug eyes on a desert before. It's not a known issue with them as far as I know.

They look normal to me, maybe the stick eyecaps causes some swelling/inflammation and they will go back down.

They are definitely not normal. However I was hoping that it might be from the stuck eye caps. They are about half as bad now as 6 weeks ago when I got him.

Strange as it seems, I notice that ball pythons have slightly different eye to head size ratios. Many other animals, including people can be on the far end of either spectrum and still be in the normal range for eye size. Your boss may have big angry eyes and your girlfriend might have large sexy eyes that you melt into. Some people have squinty eyes that look regressed and small while others tend to have a bulging out factor. I think it actually has more to do with the size of the socket actually. Anyway, with that said, in my opinion, your snakes eyes look in the normal range to me. Bug eye condition is way more pronounced to the effect that it looks like the eyes can be knocked off easily. You will also see the backside of the eyeball in extreme cases which looks white. Nice looking snake and good job getting him in tip top shape for the new year.
