    Boa dumerils on heat pad
    Hello guys,
I just moved to a new house and somehow 2 of my heat pads broke + 1 of my terrarium.
Can I put a Dumerils Boa directly on a heat pad at a larger terrarium with thermostat for a couple days? stays at 86 degrees.
Right now she’s in a very small box that I can’t even put put small water dish inside for her..

Why wouldnt you be able to assuming the heat pad has a t-stat. All my snakes except my GTP are on flexwatt belly heat only and my GTP is on flexwatt too but its mounted to the side of the cage to give a horizontal heat gradient and to not have him overheat if he grounds himself for some reason.

The heat pad plug in the thermostat that keep the warms of the pad at 86 degrees

Thats fine. As long as the snake has somewhere to get away from the heat, should be fine. I actually keep the flexwatt on my dumerils set to 88-90F. I catch her on it usually after eating for a while, then she is off to the cool side or half on/half off the flexwatt.
