    Drags Food in Water Bowl?
So for the last 3 feedings or so my snake has decided to drag his rat into his water bowl and then proceed to eat it.

Could that be dangerous for him? There isnt any chance of him drowning is there?

Should not be an issue but change the water after feeding to prevent any fouling of the water bowl.

Well, I know horses that dunk their hay in their water buckets and eat it.

I guess your snake likes the food pre-moistened. LOL

My Rhino Nosed Rat snake will only eat his mice UNDER water - has done this since he was a tiny hatchling ..

Totally normal. My snakes get so raging in feeding mode, they sometimes fall in the water bowl. They can swim and handle water even as terrestrial snakes.

My BP just did this yesterday too! While trying to contrict his rat, he put his head, along with the rat's, underwater in his water bowl. Maybe he just wamts to see who can hold their breaths longer xD
