Just looking for confirmation - Lesser
    Hi Everyone,

We are new to snakes and just brought home this ball python to start the adventure. The tag said "Lesser Bumblebee" so I am more or less looking for confirmation and any insight on how she might change over time.

Thanks for any information. For some reason the photo is saying it's not available, but if you click on it and go to my flickr, you can find it there.

Thank you all for your wonderful information sharing!

Looks like Lesser Spider to me, and a stunning combo to boot! I may have to pair up a spider pied with one of my lesser females next year and get that combo!

your snake is a lesser bee. unfortunately bumble bee is spider/pastel however when combine it with any other morph without pastel it just becomes a bee or a whole new name spider/pastel/lesser is called a queen bee . doesn't make much sense but some names just stick that dont make sense. lol. gorgeous snake regardless. congrats on your new addition

Thank you all for your comments and compliments! :)

We love her. She still quite scared and tends to hang at the back of her enclosure, but we're giving her sufficient time without handling her so she can acclimate.

They do sleep during the day of course ...

Presume he has two matching hides , one in the warm side , one in the cool side ..

Yes, she hasn't even ventured over to the cool side*, nor uses her hot side hide, she just sits under the greenery in the middle.

*Assuming she's not cruising around like crazy while we're sleeping :)
