    BEL and BEL pied
Does anyone know how to tell if a BEL is also a pied? I have a mojave pied male and was looking to purchase a lesser het pied female, but I have no idea how to identify a BEL from a BEL pied. Thank you.

i haven't seen a Mojo x Lesser BEL Pied, but have seen a Super Lesser Pied. the belly line looked like this Lucy Burm - https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...leucistic-baby it was different from my Lesser Pied (not a BEL, not a Super) which is complete vibrant white w/ black eyes and red pupils.

That's going to be a tough one, probably the only way is to prove it out, you would probably have to breed back to a pied and a Normal. The other problem is that a Lesser Pied is a white snake, I actually have one LOL. So an all white snake from that cross could be a Lesser Mojave, a Lesser Mojave Pied or a Lesser Pied. It looks like three out of eight will be all white:

    Percent Fraction Genes
    12.5 % 1/8 Het Piebald
    12.5 % 1/8 Piebald (pied)
    12.5 % 1/8 Mojave Het Piebald
12.5 % 1/8 Lesser (Lesser Platinum) Het Piebald
    12.5 % 1/8 Mojave Pied
    12.5 % 1/8 Lesser Pied
12.5 % 1/8 Lesser Mojave (Leuzist. Blue Eye) Het Piebald
12.5 % 1/8 Mojave Piebald (pied) Lesser (Lesser Platinum)
