    Sneezing or huffing ball python?
I've had my male ball python for the past 5 months, and recently within the past month I've been hearing him puff out air every now and then. Not necessarily a sneeze or a wheeze, but like he's puffing out a large amount of air, or huffing?
Other than this huffing or puffing, he has no signs of a RI. No bubbles, mucus, or discharge. He doesn't open his mouth, eats fine and has no weight loss. He's very active at night and no sign of stress. I have seen him sitting with his nose facing upward, but it looked like that's just how he fell asleep. I've been hearing this puffing of air more frequently now though, so is this somthing normal,or should I be worried even if there's no other noticeable RI symptoms?

I've heard some suggest that could be down to some tiny bits of substrate or dust in the nostrils / heat pits .. just a long shot ..
I'd do loads of reading up on RI just in case ...

If there was a recent shed could be some stuck in the area too... happened to our guy and breathing/puffing was noticeable... went away on its own.
