I have a male mouse that keeps escaping 3 time today, luckily I found him before my roommate did. What should I do with him? Should I continue breeding him?

Get rid of him the trouble with rodents in general is that they are very intelligent not only they can learn but they can also teach others.

While obviously your caging design is flawed (if it was not there would not be escapees) that mouse will keep trying to escape and will teach others.

Same goes for chewing behavior if you breed rodent using tubs and they chew their way out you must cull all the rodent in the bins as the learn and teach each others and generations after that if kept.

I had to put him in a bin with 15" walls because the other one was only 7" and the top was exposed.
