    PVC framework
Does anyone use PVC pipe as a framework to construct shelves and such with the GS foam? Or is it overkill?

I have a Brazilian rainbow boa, and was concerned that foam, alone, might not support the weight as he grows.

That might not be a bad idea because too much foam build up can be a pain to dry.

Just score the pvc pipe really well with coarse grit sand paper so the foam sticks to it well.

What about making a PVC framework base with plastic canvas as the top? You would just use tiny zip ties to attach the canvas to the PVC frame.

    This is plastic canvas: https://www.amazon.com/Darice-33029-...dp/B001DEGKMO/

I was thinking a wire brush on a drill would be good for that.

For that, I was wondering about a fiberglass window screen.

I bet tyvek (used in house and commercial construction and banner printing) would work perfect. It is already a material that foam will stick too really well and it's water resistant so no mold issues. You can get it pretty much at any home improvement place and it's really cheap.

The 13.25 x 22 inch piece would be great. Is this stuff pretty strong?

I ended up just using layers of foam, for the most part. I think it turned out well.
It still smells pretty bad, so it's still airing out. I had to pull the plants, because the air is still pretty bad inside. I have the heater running warmer than it will normally run to cure it a bit more. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1c220f0834.jpg
