Anyone Mounted A RHP To A Glass Tank?
It doesn't seem all that hard, I've looked into it and it seems like all I need to do is get a piece of wood or glass or something, put that on top of the mesh lid and screw the panel through the mesh. I'm not sure what I should really be looking for, reptile basics has a 80W heat panel that I think might be sufficient. It's an 18×18×36 Exo-Terra if that helps.

Wood, yes. *Plexi*glass, maybe, but plexi is brittle and easy to chip/crack; glass even more so. The other choice is to replace the screws with bolts and use fender washers between the mesh and the nuts. We’ve done it with both (screwing into wood or bolts and fender washers), both have worked fine.
As for sizing your RHP, call Reptile Basics or Pro Products and ask what size panel they recommend for your enclosure size, target temperature, and room temperature.
