Freeway?

Has anyone here produced a Freeway before?

.....I'm wondering about the confusion regarding the genetics. I know what a Yellowbelly looks like obviously, but I'm having a hard time finding a pure asphalt specimen to compare the yellowbelly to.

A pairing of a Freeway to a Normal (not that you would want to).... would produce 1/2 Yellowbelly 1/2 Asphalt as they're both co-dom.....but then I would imagine it's hard to sell the offspring? .....because I have seen a couple of listings on MM that mark unknown genetics from a Freeway clutch.....Asphalt and YB must be extremely similar in appearance but obviously different genes?

PS If you haven't seen pictures of a Freeway.....look them up.....just do it. :O

Asphalt, Gravel and YB are extremely similar. so much so that even super-Pro's like JKR can't tell for sure; the single genes and even some combo's are sold as "either Gravel or Yellowbelly"

Edit: also some believe that Asphalt and Gravel are the same morphs but different lines.

For this reason if I were to breed Freeways I would use supers if possible to avoid producing offspring that you can't tell what gene they have. E.g. if you breed a Super Asphalt then any suspect animal is by default an Asphalt. And vice versa if you breed an Ivory (Super YB) then any suspect animal is by default a YB.
