Snake condo finally done.
Well, the second Herpstat 6 came today and I got it all set up. The snake condo is finally done for now. I have an extra AP T10 laying around and not sure where I'll put that eventually but for now, everything is finished :D
Sorry about the huge size of the pic, Flickr is failing again

Haha, Well i was planning ahead incase Caesar needs a T65 next summer. Plus i eventually do want to get a Peruvian BCC, another Suri and a gila/beaded lizard. Plus like April said, it's hard to pass up on a sale from Herpstat lol. I originally was just going to get a Herpstat 1 just for Louie up top as i had still on a quarantine hydrofarm. And Luna on the bottom was on a Herpstat 1 already. So then i figured, I'll just get a Herpstat 2 so i could run Luna and Louie off the same t-stat. Well then somehow my brain just shut down and i ordered another Herpstat 6 lol. Figure that wit my extra Herpstat 1, i will have everything covered for the future since like i said, i really want a Peruvian BCC and a gila/beaded lizard. Then second tier would be another suriname and either another BCL or another SD ultra ivory retic or male mainland pied retic. So with all those 'wants' and 'needs', i will have everything covered t-stat wise :D

I've already checked my state and city ordinances and they are legal here. You just cant have wild caught ones so you have to have papers from the breeder as proof. The only things my area doesnt allow is crocodilea, crocodile monitors and venomous snakes. Kind of funny, you can keep a venomous lizard but not a snake. I imagine it's because gila and beaded lizard venom wont kill you unless you are allergic to it like a bee sting but i have been told it will make you wish you would die.
I've always wanted one since i was a 14 year old kid but back then i couldnt afford one or keep it. But now i can. I'm personally not a huge fan of lizards. I kept a bunch when i was younger before i could get constrictors as my mom was scared of snakes haha. So i had Nile Monitor, Savannah Monitors, iguanas, alligator lizards, anoles, tokay geckos, leopard geckos, house geckos along with a bunch of amphibians and salt water and fresh water fish. It was all to fill my void of large constrictors haha. Although i do miss my Nile Monitor. Got him as a hatchling and he was the coolest little man except he hated one of my friends and took a shot at him with his tail. lucky for my friend, he was quick as the tail broke the sheet rock wall. he would always huff and puff and turn sideways to that same friend haha. He hated him.
