Provent-A-Mite accidentally got on heat tape
So, I was spraying substrate in a tub next to a rack, and the spray briefly hit the installed heat tape and rack. It was visible before it dried, so it definitely got on there.

On the label, it specifically says not to spray PAM on heating devices. So, my question(s) are -- can PAM be removed from a surface after it has dried? And, is this going to be a problem? Is the rack safe to use?

Also, will PAM eventually wear off? Does it ever actually go away once it has bonded to a surface?

    Thank you for reading.

I don't think it's a real catastrophe, but I would unplug the heating right away. Allow the heat tape to cool down then use a clean moist cloth to wipe down the area of concern. Be cautious to not use a lot of water just a lightly moistened clean cloth. The other thing is to call Pro products directly. They are always very helpful. The 845 number on the PAM can is the customer service.
