I'm officially a soccer mom!
I just finished coaching my son's first soccer game! (it's a group of four and five year olds) They don't keep score, but we sooo woulda won! It was like 20 to nothing. :number1: :winner:  I am SO tired and sore. I had to run back and forth on the field. My voice is almost gone from yelling to tell them to pass the ball or go the other way. Only had one kid that wouldn't play, and I tried bribing and everthing. It went so well! Can you tell I'm still excited!?! :D

I absolutely loved it when my daughter was in a soccer league! Her team was number one and won all thier games all season. We miss soccer here, there are no teams for girls here.
Re: I'm officially a soccer mom!
Well that just down right sucks! No girl soccer teams?! Jerks.
My daughter wanted to do dance, but now that she sees my son playing she wants to ditch dance and play soccer. Well see. I think I probably will sign her up next season if she's still interested.
I was so nervous, being that this was the first time I had ever really coached a team all by myself. (that and it has been 15 yrs since I last played I think - EEP) For our age group the coach is allowed on the field, so I spent an hour running back and forth. I was so wiped when they blew that final whistle! So were the poor kids. I was struggling, at the end, to keep 5 kids on the field that didn't keep asking if they could take a break. And of course my son  made one (of several) goals and shouted "In your face!" *grabbed son and almost throttled him* It doesn't hurt either that my son is THE tallest kid out there. Next practice....good sportsmanship! It was still great all in all and I even managed to take a small video clip where my son scored! (for the husband!)
