    Fire Skink
So, I adopted a fire skink and I am going to pick her up tonight. The previous owner says that she can be aggressive due to the way the skink had been socialized. Im wondering what the best way to socialize her is? I want her to be pretty docile and not be super freaked out when i try to hold her.

    My new Fire Skink
Im picking up my new baby today! The owner says that the fire skink can be quite aggressive at times and needs a little help socializing, what is the best way to do this with out stressing the animal too much?

Let the Skink settle in for at least a week, two to three weeks would be better. After that you can have short, 5 minute handling sessions, putting the Skink back when he/she gets stressed(It would be better to put them back before this point though). Make sure your husbandry is correct and that the Skink is eating before you attempt handling.
