Retics pretty size as adults?

Wondering what is acceptable for a 14 ft female retic for prey size from minimal to max per feeding?

Trying too figure out looking at having a female that could reach that size possible...

It depends on the snakes weight, but i would be expecting larger than 14 feet for a female as that is a little small for a female. Any adult mainland retic will need very large ginnea pigs and then eventually rabbits or piglets.

Depends on what she'll take. My GS dwarf female is slightly larger than that but she's a bit of a prima donna and won't take a rabbit larger than 4 pounds, go figure. So, she eats every 7-10 days, unless she is in shed, and then she won't eat at all. Like I said, prima donna.

My male is smaller, about 12 feet, has eaten rabbits in the 6-7 pound range and after each one he wouldn't get fed again for three weeks.

14ft the large size it's going to be more like 12 ft it's 75% dwarf 25% Super dwarf

If it's a 75% dwarf 14 feet is a better gauge on size.

Ya, breeder is reliable..
So I could potentially be looking at small rabbits or large guinea pigs but I wouldn't be feeding those every 7 days that would be once every two weeks correct?

Depending specifically on the retic, yes. Some, like mine, will smash his face up against the glass and split his lip open if he isn't fed enough. But for most dwarf retics i think you could get by with a very large guinea pig or a smallish to medium rabbit every 2 or 3 weeks... All being said it just depends on your snake. Expect the have to feed larger than you think, so in this case if you are expecting a large guinnea pig or small rabbit you should be prepared to feed medium or large rabbits.

Yeah I have no problem feeding rabbits large prey I can afford it as well my biggest concerns my two cats although they're very large cats they're over 15 lb each I'm just afraid of human error putting their lives in Mortal Danger..
My plan is to have a house with a bedroom for the reptiles only within the next year and a half..

Yes, i would be very very careful.... I could see even a dwarf retic taking a shot at a 15 lbs cat.... Be careful!
