    Is this Scale rot?
https://ball-pythons.net/forums/cach...ur.com/a/slI9fhttps://ball-pythons.net/forums/cach...ur.com/a/slI9fHi, could anyone tell me if this is scale rot? I just noticed it on him while handling him and its the first time I'm seeing this. It's a little bump and feels dry like a scab, could it be just a abrasion from nose rubbing or a wound from prey? I feed him live mice but so far I haven't seen him sustain any wounds nor the rat managing to get close to his head while he's constricting but I'm fairly new to this so any advice would help https://ball-pythons.net/forums/cach...ur.com/a/slI9fhttps://ball-pythons.net/forums/cach...ur.com/a/slI9f

I noticed there was some black gunk in one of his nostrils as well but its pretty in there and I can't get a good photo of it

Top pic looks like old stuck shed. If the spot doesn't clear next shed then keep an eye on it.
