    Internal parasites
So, seven months ago I moved out of my old apartment. While there I owned both of my snakes and my roommate also had two ball pythons. This morning my old roommate told me that one of her snakes had vomited up (not regurged) his last meal and died soon afterward. She thinks an internal parasite may have been the cause because he's never vomited before. Everything seemed normal, but he's always been a picky eater. She's going to get her remaining snake tested today for parasites. I was wondering if I should also take my snakes to get tested since they lived in the same apartment seven months ago. They always were in different rooms from each other but we did use the same sink when it came to cleaning their cages. Are internal parasites that spreadable? Has enough time passed for my snakes to show no signs of sickness for me to not be worried about it?

If you are concerned go find a vet that can do a fecal test for parasites. That rules it out. Unless those were wild caught snakes, the chances of parasites are extremely rare. Just get a test done to be sure.

I'm not sure about what you could do other than go get him tested, but please keep us up to date.

Upon asking a few colleagues of mine that are much more experienced than I, they said IP is pretty likely the cause of death of the snake, and a fecal test is advisable but you're most likely in the clear.
