Sorry to jump on this right away, but are you still using the analog thermometer I see in the beeps tank? Those are pretty inaccurate, being about 10 degrees off. Just wanted to let you know, although someone more experienced might weigh in on this :)

That's fine. The pic are a month or two old. For years all I used were the analog ones but with hearing that on here I got some digital ones and put them at floor level and have found the old ones I had are not accurate at all.

Be very careful with your cat on the loose right near your snake. You can never be too careful. You just never know when the cat may decide to go after the snake. That could end badly for both.

I am, that's my older one he has no interest in them he just likes to his own thing. My kitten tho I make sure is in a different room when they are out.
