Under Belly heat is perfect but ambient temp seems a little low
Brand new here, always used this website to help me out by searching questions but now I've decided to make my own account and ask a specific question :)

So I'm using a heat tape to warm up my legless friend and according to my temperature gun it's perfect 90 on the furthest left side and about 79 on the furthest right side. But my thermometer is reading the ambient temp to be 75-77 (placed in the middle). From what I've read a lot about, it should be in the 80s. Can anyone help? :tears:

I'm using a plastic tub. I was having humidity issues with my glass tank so I switched over to this. And it's just so much more simpler

If you are reading your temps with an accurate thermometer temps of 75 to 77 are just fine.

Ambient temps will depend on the ambient temps of your home so if you want to raise it you can

    A# Increase your room temp
B# Have an additional heat source on the cool side
