Poll on what heat source you use for tubs
What type of UTH do you prefer to use for your Sterilite/Rubbermaid tubs?

Thank you for your replies :)

None! I use a CHE lol. My Zoomed UTH serves as a back-up, but for the most part I don't use it.

I have ARS racks and they have metal heating bars, if you flip a bar over it's flexwatt heat tape LOL.

I have tubs in a non rack set up so i use the ultraterm pads from reptile basics. They work great and i have been happy with the quality.

My racks are set up with Ultratherms -- both pads and long pads/heat strips.

Re: Poll on what heat source you use for tubs
Thanks everyone for participating in this poll. It is interesting to see what works for others. I have been using the zoo med heat mat for awhile but when you try to regulate 2 heat mats through one thermostat it doesn't provide stable heat for both.
I have switched now to heat tape using 1 strip for my 2 bp's and another heat strip for my other 2 snakes. This way each strip (being one heat source) has it's own thermostat to produce more accurate temps. Now I just need to tweak the thermostat temps up or down to where the right amount of heat is produced in my tubs... :)

    Thanks again!
