It should be fine. If you're worried about insects nesting in it, you could always put any opened bags of the product into a plastic bag before putting it in the storage tote.

I believe the 100% organic biodegradable makeup of ReptilePrime has the propensity to repel insects to some degree. It wouldn't hurt to place the whole bag of it into a clean kitchen garbage bag. This way it's double bagged.

I agree with SDA... I once left a bag of eco-earth outside for a few days and it didn't take long for it to collect insects and dry out quickly. I know Reptile Prime is suppose to be better quality, but I won't chance it!!
