Storing Reptile Prime

This is going to sound very stupid but google won't help. I have a small apartment and not alot of storing space inside. I do have a small outside storage closet connected to my apartment. If I put the bag of reptile prime in a tote, would it be safe to store outside?

Like I said, stupid question.

It should be fine. If you're worried about insects nesting in it, you could always put any opened bags of the product into a plastic bag before putting it in the storage tote.

The new reptile prime bags have a resealable zip thingy and small holes for circulation so moisture doesn't collect. It might be best to keep it in the house if you are in a part of the country that gets damp or has a big wooded area like where I live. If I were to store the stuff outside it would start to break down in a matter of weeks.

I believe the 100% organic biodegradable makeup of ReptilePrime has the propensity to repel insects to some degree. It wouldn't hurt to place the whole bag of it into a clean kitchen garbage bag. This way it's double bagged.

I agree with SDA... I once left a bag of eco-earth outside for a few days and it didn't take long for it to collect insects and dry out quickly. I know Reptile Prime is suppose to be better quality, but I won't chance it!!
