    Light shining through snake's eyes
    Wanted to show a bizarre effect that I noticed on Dante. At first I thought he had some issue around his eyes until I realized what was happening.

    His eye focuses and directs the light from the LEDs above to the scales under his eyeball. This picture doesn't show it that well but it is really neat looking.

    There's clear liquid between the monocle and the snake's eye, sort of like how we have tears over our eyes. You can really only see the gap between the monocle and the eye itself while they're underwater. But if you think about it, it makes sense that light would shine through the liquid and reflect on the scales around it.

    Yes! My scrub’s eyes do this as well. I think it makes him extra magical :)
