Dwarf to super dwarf reticulated python pairing?
I know when you breed a dwarf/SD to a mainland you get 50% of the dwarf Gene... How does that work if you breed a 50% super to a 50% dwarf?
Just wondering that's all....

The babies would get half of their genetics from each parent - i.e. 25% SD, 25% Dwarf and the rest would be Mainland. Basically, they would get half the SD % and half the Dwarf % and half the Mainland % from each parent.
Mom is 50% SD and 50% Mainland = 25% SD and 25% Mainland passed onto offspring
Dad is 50% Dwarf and 50% Mainland = 25% Dwarf and 25% Mainland passed onto offspring
25% SD, 25% Dwarf, 50% Mainland =100%
Hopefully this helps!

No problem! I suggest getting a female sooner rather than later if you're looking to start in the next couple of years. SD females tend to "go" a little later than mainlainds, and that includes SD crosses (not always, but in general). Some take 4-5 years. Good luck either way, they are an amazing and rewarding species to work with, especially those mini ticlets! :snake:
