    Pastel vs. Enchi
I bought a pastel het albino male a few months ago at a reptile show. While I was there, I noticed that I couldn't really tell the difference between the pastels and the enchis that the breeder I bought from was selling. I'm new to ball pythons so i figured this is just my inexperience, but I just came across someone selling an enchi ball python in my area and it got me curious about the difference again since it looks so similar to my pastel. I've tried searching the web but i'm still confused for the most part. Do they both have faded heads but the enchis is in the butterfly shape? And do enchis not have white bellies whereas pastels do? Sorry, I'm just having a hard time figuring this one out.

P.S. Here's a link the the enchi that I was looking at. It seems to me like 200g for a snake born in 2016 is pretty light, no?

Enchis have a reduced pattern, meaning bands of black, and almost no spots at all. Pastels usually are more complex "busy" pattern.

Enchis almost always have the yellow/orange speckling along the sides. I took the picture a circled it for you

That is not a nice enchi. I would not buy. And yes it is on the small side.
