    Pairing Suggestions?
Hello Ball Python community, I will be attempting my first small breeding project. I have had BPs for over 3 years now so I am ready to take the next step. I recently bought an awesome Banana Coral Glow Butter Male and I am needing some suggestions and which female morphs best to pair him with. I am only going to purchase two females for my project. Please help with some suggestions. Thank you!

If it were me I would get two visual clown combos. First breeding for hets then growout a male from each clutch to put back to opposite females.

If that project is to expensive you could go for a standard clown female and a combo het clown. First pairing goes to the visual and then hold back a male to go to the other combo het female. You still could make some awesome visuals, just not as many as the other plan or as good of odds but a more affordable project.

This is just my opinion but if you don’t want to invest in some higher demand morphs, I don’t see any reason to breed. So many come on here talking about breeding single morph males and even normals and it’s not good for the hobby, just flooding the market with animals that are not in demand. This is not directed at you, I think your off to a good start with your male, this is just why I’m recommending higher dollar morphs for your project.

That's great advice. I invested good money in my Male and I plan on doing the same for my two females. I decided to do a small project with only 3 snakes, 1 male and 2 females, so I can direct my cost to higher quality BPs.

I was was thinking of getting one female which has the Butter gene and maybe two other genes.
