Is this pvc enclosure too big for a Bp?
This is the one I have my eye on when I emailed the company for info the guy said it was too big for a Bp and suggested the 3 foot long version my Bp is I would guess between 2-2.5 feet long maybe 3 at most I think less though when weighed last night he or she weighed in at 368 grams that might be a bit off because he ate a rat on Saturday that's bigger than he/she used to eating thanks in advance for any input! :)https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...2d5f715f7f.jpg

Good forever home. Clutter it up while jeffree grows.

I have always kept my snakes (from baby to adult) in enclosures that may be deemed too big by some people. I've never had a problem. Some people say they must be cluttered up if it is a large enclosure and that may be true for some snakes. I have never witnessed that. It may be also that my snakes are out of their cage everyday for up to an hour or better at a time so wide open to them is comfortable. Feedings go off like clock work except for two of the three while in shed. In my opinion, especially for an adult ball python there is no such thing as too big. Something that size you could always section off if you felt it made your ball python more comfortable.

Thanks that's what I thought!! I would definitely do that!

Thanks yeah I'm gonna go with that one plus the smaller one was not much cheaper!

I need to get a couple of new larger enclosures made but my brother inlaw who makes them for me is currently in Puerto Rico helping with the reconstruction efforts. So Monty has to deal with a glass enclosure when he gets out of quarentine.

Yeah that's what I kinda figured and yeah I handle my Bp quite often he/never seems freaked out being out of the enclosure!

I wish I had a brother in law to make me some enclosures and that's awesome what he's doing!

Known him since high school, he's an amazing person. That's why i let him date and eventually marry my sister. He's made two for me so far. Both custom jobs, one is oak and one is maple they have uth cutouts that i cover with terracotta tiles. I love using the wooden vivs the humidity stays spot on, i never have to spray them.
