How do you get your snake to be less head shy. I have had mine for about 2 months and hes still as head shy as he was when I got him. Hes a great eater and he handles well its just the slightest movement freaks him out.

Just a matter of handling him a lot. The more you hold and interact with him, the more he will begin to get to know you and your movements. After a while he will begin to trust you more. Some of them will get over it totally, others will remain a bit head shy. One of mine only jerks back when someone he doesn't know holds him and they move too fast. But after a couple minutes he's fine. The other one is totally comfortable around everyone. I raised him from a little baby, and he is handled all the time.

Yeah, just like Sass said handling and slowly working your way up to the head. Some animals will always be head shy, it's just the personality of the snake!

Both of ours will accept gentle touch along the sides of their necks, on top of their neck and head and especially seem to enjoy under chin rubs. Both of them will flinch/pull back from fast movement coming in from the side of their faces so we just avoid that motion with them.
