Jeffree ate his first rat!!

It was yesterday and I was gonna post this yesterday but didn't wanna sound stupid... It was a little under what he should be eating for his weight by 5 grams but bigger than what he's been eating by 8 grams. Because I've been trying to to slowly transition him because he was on fuzzy mice when I got him from petsmart. He spit it out to reposition once but got it down in less than 10 minutes and I'm so proud of my little boy!! :snake:

I'm so proud of Jeffree! What a good, growing baby! I just love feeding mine, is that morbid? lol

honestly feeding is, like, one of the best parts about owning snakes IMO. it's completely unique in the pet world and it's fun!!!

Congrats!! It's exciting isn't it?? Feeding day is also one of the highlights for me too haha, it's just so fascinating to watch them tap into their inner predator and see them in action!

Lol nope I love feeding day especially since he always eats. I still jump every time when he strikes at it 3 months later and I still jump!!

Lol I swear jeffree knows the rodents are dead already and constricts just to humor me his feeding response is always great but he wraps around it very lazy!!

Exactly!! Do my neighbour's count as rats?? cuz I'll gladly feed them to Jeffree!!
