    One is fine. Feed again in a week. The whole 10-15% thing is a guideline not a hard and fast rule.

    I agree with bcr. The 10-15% guideline is exactly that. I feed a little on the heavier side of that scale for snakes under 1kg. I'd give him one weaner a week and offer a second prey item every 3-4 feedings.

    Personally I go by the body condition of the snake. If your snake is long and real skinny I'd give two. If it's a fat ol snake I'd give one or even skip a couple weeks LOL. When my retic was small I'd give her a big meal and within a day or two she would look anorexic so I fed her quite a bit. Once she started maturing I slowed way down. Now at nearly 30 pounds I can skip several weeks and she still looks fine.
