I produced my first three clutches of spiders this year. Two different fathers. I found that they were harder to start than their non-spider siblings, but once they began eating they were total pigs.

I only had 3 (still have 2) with spider genes. All were the first to eat and always ready. But also the most interesting to feed. They get so over excited that they miss the rodent and then come at me full force while I'm trying to follow their "dance" and keep the rodent in front of their face, LOL. The only time they display the "wobble" is at feeding time.
As you can see, it doesn't make them miss any meals, LOL.

I've only got the one spider. He is a hungry monster. When I got him he'd miss 3 maybe 4 times. He now nails it first strike every time he does have interesting eating habbits though. He likes to rest his head on top of the hide and rock his head back and forth while he eats.
