    I need help !
I just went to the petstore and bought a large medium sized rat for rebel, i killed it and dropped it in her tank and she immediatly struck and started to eat but when i looked closer i saw two or three little black dots moving around, they look like mites in the rodent, what do i do, with rodent mites feed on reptiles.

My friend gave me a can of prvent-amite she wasnt using and so i have it but i dont really know how to use it, onb the back of the can it says something like. For Toroise Use Only: and gives the instructions on how to apply it to a turtle, does this mean i cannot use it on her and her tank ? what should i do ?!?

First of all, let me double check. The mites were on the rodents? Hopefully someone else can chime in here, as i have not had any mite experience.

rodent mites and snake mites are not the same. follow directions on the can, don't spray the snake directly. remove the snake completely, clean the enclosure, spray the prevent o mite and let it air dry for 20-30 min. if you have arachnids or amphibians do this somewhere else.
