    Wifi Security Cams
Has anyone gone to the effort of setting up a camera to spy on their snake? I figured since I've never been able to watch him eat and hardly ever see him then maybe I can catch him on camera. There seems to be some affordable options out there. Plus with my BPs recent regurgitation issue, I'd like to monitor his actions. Any experience with small cams?

There's a lot of different ones that you can get. I personally have a black "outside" blink camera that is motion activated and has "night vision" that i use to spy on my dogs. They're just a little pricey just to keep tabs on your snake. You can also check out baby monitors. Some of those have wifi connection as well.

I've been reading reviews on amazon, etc.. and I agree this looks like a good one and the price seems inline w/ other models. I might give it a go and return it if it's not working for me.

Just FYI, the motion detection probably isn't going to work with the glass of the enclosure. That's the only downfall with these cameras... That's the problem with my Blink camera. Now the one you're looking at does have SD memory so you might be able to just record a certain amount of time and then play it back.

Agree on the glass / motion detection part. I was just scoping out my area and the only way I think it will work is if the camera sits right next to the enclosure and is tall enough to look in and downwards. Since it's a pvc enclosure w/ a bottom lip, the camera would need to be able to look downwards, otherwise I would not be able to see my BP eating.

So I actually tried this the other day. I was hoping to watch my girl Echo shed but I got a bit of a surprise when I reviewed the recording. I just used a Logi circle but I have since took it out and put it back where it was. Here is a link to the video that i hope works. https://youtu.be/8YR657FBTOs
