    New Racks Arrived
I just received my CSerpents hatchling and sub adult racks. Any setup tips for a newbie to racks? I have 2 VE100 thermostats to regulate the heat tape, any other suggestions? I will be using EcoEarth substrate and also have a humidifier in the room I’ll be keeping them in and that is set to 50-60% humidity. Thanks in advance.

With a proper size water dish and not too many vent holes you should not need a humidifier in the room. Our ambient is in the 30's and maintain 60-70 in our hatchlings tubs.

i would suggest buying extra tubs for each rack. sometimes tubs get damaged, so an extra is always helpful. or sometimes they get really dirty but u can't do a quick cleanup, but u can do a quick tub switch.

Where do I start for vent holes (size and amount)? I plan on ordering a couple extra tubs for each rack in the next few weeks. Any suggestions on where to get iris hatchling tubs? The 28qt Sterilite tubs also? I have a couple Rubbermaid tubs that have latching lids that I could use in a pinch if need be. Thanks for the info!

You sould be able to find the sterilite tubs at walmart for a good price.
I read in another thread today to do 3/16th size air holes. You can use a drill or a soldering iron to do that.
As for how many, that depends on your temps and humidity. Start with less and add more if you need em to stablize humidity or temps.
