Adult boa has been in the same spot for days
My adult, female red tail has seemed to not have moved from the same corner in about 3 days. I've only had her a couple of weeks and she seemed to be more active and using her branch etc. at first. I was having issues with getting the tank warm and humid enough at first, but now I finally got the temps decent and stable humidity and her not moving seems to coincide with that. Right now the cool side of the tank is at about 80 and warm side is around 90 and she's in a corner on the cool side. Only thing I haven't been able to get yet is a hide that is large enough for her. So she doesn't have a hide - would this contribute to her behavior? When I go into the tank and pet her she'll move her head around a little but that's about it. I even checked in the middle of the night to see if she might be being active at night but no cigar. I'm going to try bringing her out later today but thought I would check here first and see if this is normal behavior or if I should be concerned?
Thanks for your help!

If she dosent have a hide it could contribute to this. If your husbandry is correct she probably just feels the most secure in that spot

Well now I think she may be getting ready to shed! Was looking at her closely and her eyes are just a bit glazed.

What is the typical amount of time it takes for them to complete the shed, for a 5 foot adult?
