    Is this safe? (Feeding) URGENT
    Is this normal or is it some type of fungi?

    I noticed some white spots on the mice I use to feed my ball python, is this fungi??

    Oh thank you! I actually realized that a few minutes ago when I unthawed one and the spots went away, I just wanted to make sure I was right.

    Looks like freezer-burn to me. If you have that happen often, you can individually package each rat (or 1-3 of that size) in a zip lock baggie and squeeze all the air out. Then but the small baggies into a gallon freezer bag, also with the air squeezed out, and store the whole package in a plastic freezer container. I do this for my rats and they keep without freezer burn for about 6 to 9 months.

    Thank you! I’ll do that when I cant buy more mice for some period of time

    I've never seen that, not sure I would use a rodent that old. Smell it, if it smells funky don't use it. I raise all my own and wrap them individually with a paper towel, then put them in a ziplock baggie, I never get freezer burn. But I do use them within 2-3 months max.
