Sleeping out in the open, suddenly!
Viago has been using his hides pretty much all the time since I got him a month ago. Last night, I found him stretched out on a branch, and this morning till tonight, he's sleeping /on top/ of his cool hide. I checked to see if there was a poop in his hide, no such thing. The temps have remained constant as has humidity. 90 on hot side to 80 on cool side, 50-55% humidity.
Is this something to worry about? Or just him deciding to try out other napping spots?

Yeah mine's done this sometimes because he bombed a hide but still wants to thermoregulate.
But if there's adequate cover in your enclosure and they're just chilling outside during nighttime hours that's just a comfortable BP who feels like it can "risk" being out of its hide to look around and enjoy its surroundings since it feels secure and non-threatened in its enclosure.

My 2 year old spends more time out in the open then she does in her hides. Even after I clean her enclosure out. They are funny like that.
