Female hatchling Butter Motley corn

In a rash decision I purchased a female butter motley cornsnake that I simply cannot use for by bio class (she's a triple recessive of caramel, amelanism, and motley) too complex for my kids to make out the genotypes.


I want to find a nice local home for her as I've decided to go with a lavendar and a stripe for my classroom pets. I simply have too many snakes with not enough space. If anyone is interested please PM me. I'm in the DC/Baltimore area and can meet you.

Some facts: Female hatchling who has taken 6 meals (all f/t) of single pinkies. I have had her for one week and she ate today (though shy, I had to leave her all alone for 20 minutes). Beautiful motley pattern and from Serpenco stock.

hey wendy, if you don't find her a home, you may want to bring her to mars. you may be able to trade her for one that you can use. just a thought.

Vaughn, I'd love to but I was told trades were taboo at MARS....they won't let you bring an animal in unless it's smuggled. Any thoughts?

It's just a prospect of having too many snakes with 3 female coming in from Adam and 3 corns (one for home two for school)..heck, what's one more snake at that point! All the same, I'd rather be more streamlined :D

a snake bag, a back pack??? and be sneaky of course. don't walk around advertising it! lol i think if you do it in a quiet manner, there should not be any problems. or you could leave the snake in the vehicle and work out the trade inside?
