    Shedding issues with new beep
Hi guys, I got this little girl a few days ago, she looks very skinny and it seems like she has some shed issues, she’s been in her tub for a few days now, humidity around 70, I took her out to check on her and I see no progress on her shed, I have her soaking in water and she’s fine but I’m very worried about her, the breeder said she ate successfully 3 times, but I see a lot of wrinkles on her side so I assume that’s not good look

Any suggestions? Should I wait longer to feed her? Here are some new pics

just a skinny snek. one round of stuck shed is nothing to fret over, especially for a new arrival.

leave the bby alone for a week MINIMUM, ensure your husbandry is ON POINT, and when the next shed comes keep that humidity at 70% to ensure everything comes off.

    So

Warm side around 87, cool side at 82-84, ambient at 80-81, I have a temp gun, this is her tub

I’ve seen her go from cool side to warm side now and then, she’s a little active but she’s always in her hides so I think she’s fine, I’m just worried about being underfed and I don’t want to stress her out more by trying to fix the shed, tomorrow is her feeding day according to the breeder, but I just got her Tuesday, should I try to feed her? Should I wait?

i'd wait minimum 5 days up to a week before offering food. your temps sound good, so just let the lil bby settle in and adjust for the time being.

Definitely wait at least a week from when you got the snake to attempt feeding. let her get comfortable. if you know your husbandry is right, its best to leave her be and let her adjust to her new home.

How about the shed? Should I do something? Or just let her be? It seems to be stuck! But I don’t want to stress her out

how much shed is still on her? if it's not much i wouldn't worry about it right now. if there's a significant amount, you might need to just bite the bullet and help her out.
