    My new boy... Rusty!
Hey guys, just thought I'd post a pic of the little boy I'll be picking up next week. This'll be my first RTB... can't wait! This isn't my pic, it's one I got from the breeder. I'll post more when I get them. Thanks for looking...

BTW I have decided to name his Rustyhttps://ball-pythons.net/gallery/fil.../1/1/Rusty.jpg

Thanks! The breeder's name is Steve Justice. He's actually moving to Columbus, Ohio from Texas, so I lucked out. I won't have to pay shipping! He's moving Monday and I was told I can pick my baby up anytime after that...

Thats so cool! What luck you have. Oh I bet your gonna be anxious to get to Columbus. How many snakes is he moving with, do you know? How do you stage a move like that with lots and lots of snakes? I have moved with over 30 rats, a rabbit,6 cats, 2 HUGE dogs (st.bernard and giant malamute), 2 kids and a partridge in a pear tree (joking on the partridge in a pear tree) across the country, but they dont require heat sources. And that was hard enough.

Yeah, no kidding. I get the feeling that he sold off quite a few of them before he moved... he told me that the father and a few others were for sale, too, if I was interested, but that many of the other siblings were already spoken for.

Its not easy I moved last Dec from tampa,fl to San Antonio,tx with 3 BDs 2 frogs, 12 snakes 2 cats 2 dogs 1 wife and 1 daughter. It wasnt fun and took some major planning on my part but here is what I did. Took a big 50gal rubbermaid box figured out how many smaller box's I could stack in and and how to best arrange them. The I bought a converter/inverter for my jeeps lighter outlet this way I could run heat pads thru the rubbermaid box. I ended up using 3 heat pads and ran theroms with probes to monitor the heat in the box kept the box at a constant 86* and the jeep at about 80*.
