Items.
So, when/if I get this job I am trying to get at Petsmart, either as Stocker or Pet Care Associate, I am gonna buy Axel some items.
I am trying to get a Temperature Gun, Vines, Plants(Fake), more reliable hides, and just other stuff I find that he might like to make him feel at home.
I also am working on getting him a bigger enclosure! And that is a question of mine, when do y'all think i'll need a bigger enclosure? Like years or months?
I seen somewhere that Ball Pythons shed every 4-6 weeks and I don't know the last time he shed 'cause 1: Petsmart didn't decide to tell me. 2: I don't even think they where keeping record on it.
So, anyways, thanks for looking and I thanks for helping out!! (If ya do! lol)

They don't sell temp guns. I work for Petco and if you get the job you will try to save every animal and try to correct protocol that we both know are wrong. I want to warn you now that what you see behind the scenes will piss you off. Are you prepared for that? There is a correct way to change and a non correct way. And Petsmart is worse than Petco. I have a friend who worked at Petsmart.

I don't recall what size of enclosure you have but my boy is about 300 grams in a 20 gallon and I'm afraid more then that would just freak him out as his size lol. When reaches about 500+ grams I plan to upgrade him to a 40 gallon (That is if I don't cave and get a rack system by then lol)
Strangly where I live the Petsmarts are better then Petcos. The enclosure just seem better and they keep the snakes seperatly where as at the petcos they just bunch them all together and I've stumbled upon dead and dying animals more then once whereas at PS they seem overall pretty healthy, but I'm sure this is more due to the people working there and not the company as a whole lol. My case is no doubt the exception not the rule! None are worst then a small chain called Pet Supermarket here though >-< Regardless I agree you will for sure have to come to terms with the fact that you won't be able to save or change everything and that can be very disheartening. I'm sure there is good you can do there just make sure to be prepared for heartache

I don’t think I’ll need a job like this, if what y’all are saying is true, I’d rather work at a Dollar General or even a Dairy Queen. I can’t handle when I know something is wrong and I can’t fix it. I really do need a job and a lady actually offered me a job at Dairy Queen, but I have to much anxiety to break and it’s hard, if y’all want I could make a post about the anxiety deal to explain it, but anyways, I think I might just work at Dollar General or even Dairy Queen, something else, even though I always dreamed of working with animals. I wanna go to college to become a Vet/Vet assistant and it’s hard ‘cause I didn’t finish school and now I have to get a GED, sorry I am telling y’all this, kinda need to get things off your chest, ya’know? Anyways about the hides, should I get them plastic box looking ones? I don’t want the wood one anymore. Lol I should’ve just bought some that were good. Anyways, thank you for replying.

I totally understand about the anxiety, I have it myself lol. If you wanted to make a post that would be fine, it's always good to get things off of your chest instead of holding it in. No one is perfect ^-^ Don't be ashamed of it! I would for sure go for one of the other jobs if you feel that what we described would be to much for you, I worked in a ice cream parlor type place as my first job as well and even now don't work with animals yet even though that's what I wanna do [emoji14] There is still plenty of time! Just get some job experience under your belt and prepare for when you can finally do what you love! You could also see if there are any locally owned pet stores hiring or even volunteer at a kennel or vet clinic if you wanna work with some animals still.
As for the hides, the box looking ones are fine if you don't care about the aesthetics of the tank, Reptile Basics sells some nice cheap ones (On phone can't link sry!) but any sort of cave hide will do just fine if you want to tank to be a display as well. Its up to you! Just make sure it's appropriately sized for him and if you go the cave way get ones with only one opening

You could also pm sometime if you want something more private to just talk it out. I've gone/am going through some similar stuff and would be happy to listen to lol
