Yay! Sobe took a rat fuzzy/pup
I didn't know if switching over from mice would be a problem so I'm really happy that he ate. We p/k the rat fuzzy/pup, dropped it in and Sobe looked at us for a moment before realizing 'Oh! hey! look! It's food.' LOL! Then he grabbed it and rolled up into a ball to "kill" it and then swallowed it, snake dance and all. So cute! :)

Oh excellent Khara! Great to hear your Sobe did so well with the transition! Was the rat fuzzy all the much bigger than the mice Sobe was previously eating?

    Congrats to you and Sobe!

Thanks. :) The rat fuzzy/pup was the same size as Sobe's adult mice in length but a bit thicker so maybe that is why he took it so readily.

*edit - Seems every shop has it's own idea about how big a fuzzy or a pup should be. After looking online at rodent pro, the rat was more pup-like than fuzzy. lol*
