    He is being fed an adult mouse average size... is a rat pup smaller ? I wouldn't even know where to get one. I can only buy regular mouse at petco. Should he get maybe an adult mouse twice a week?

    Follow this chart and you should be good, looks like you should be feeding him adult mice that are in the right weight set or rat pups.

    Do you weigh your prey items, or just go by the name that on the package? My PetCo has rat pups, have you asked them?
