    Pine sol
Is it safe to mop the floors in a snake room with Pine Sol? Obviously not in the enclosures but wondering about the fumes. I have family visiting and someone mopped the whole house with pine sol.

"Pine-Sol is a registered trade name of Clorox for a line of household cleaning products, used to clean grease and heavy soil stains. Pine-Sol was based on pine oil when it was created in 1929 and during its rise to national popularity in the 1950s.[3] However, as of 2016, Pine-Sol products sold in stores no longer contain pine oil as a result of the increased cost of the commodity.[4" (From Wikipedia)

So if you are worried that pine sol has pine in it, rest assured that as long as it was bought after 2016, it does not :)

I made a quick search for the new Pine-Sol's material safety data sheet. https://www.thecloroxcompany.com/wp-...2014-08-02.pdf

I doubt that a single use of the new Pine-sol on the house floor would be toxic to a snake. Especially if I removed the water bowl for a couple of days after the Pine-sol was used to keep the vapors from dissolving in the water and having the snake drink it. But I would not use the stuff to clean cages or water bowls. Or use it more than once in a six month period anywhere in the house. And I would try to air out the house after using it because the vapors could irritate human lungs. Better to err on the safe side, IMO.
